Attackers threw explosives in the Belgian city of Liege, killing two people and wounding at least a dozen others Tuesday.

Belgian newspaper Le Soir said witnesses reported four explosions. Local media reported that witnesses also heard a series of smaller explosions or gunfire.

One of the attackers is believed to have killed himself following the attack. Local media reported that a second attacker was arrested by police near the city cathedral.

Police were also searching for at least one other attacker.

Earlier reports described how one man aged in his 40s was involved in the initial attack. The man reportedly launched four grenades from a platform above a bakery in the town in eastern Belgium.

The grenades were reportedly launched by the man toward a crowded bus stop.

The area around Place St. Lambert has been cordoned off by police. Frantic people took refuge inside shops and businesses in and around the square.

Heavily-armed security personnel and medical teams remain at the scene.

Pack of violent robbers strikes in Richmond; 3rd time in 22 hours
By JOE MACENKA
November 09, 2011

Robbers traveling in packs struck Tuesday in downtown Richmond for the third time in 22 hours, and police are investigating the possibility that the three crimes are connected.

The latest robbery occurred at 4:40 p.m. at the Harrison Mini Mart in the 900 block of North Harrison Street, in the city's Carver neighborhood, and resulted in a store clerk being hospitalized.

Richmond police Capt. Yvonne Crowder said a group of six to seven black males, all appearing to be in their early 20s and wearing white T-shirts covering their faces -- and one brandishing a handgun -- entered the store and ordered the clerk to the floor. The clerk was struck over the head repeatedly and the men robbed the store of an undetermined amount of cash.

The clerk was taken to VCU Medical Center to be treated for injuries that Crowder said were not believed to be life-threatening.

Tuesday's robbery occurred a short distance northwest of two robberies Monday night that were also carried out by groups of young men.

The first occurred at 6:46 p.m. in the 100 block of East Broad Street, where a victim was robbed by four to five young men who knocked him to the ground and struck him in the forehead. He was treated for a head laceration.

At 7:36 p.m. Monday, two victims were robbed in Abner Clay Park, in the 200 block of West Clay Street, by a group of at least six young men, including one with a handgun. Both victims were struck in the head in that robbery.

What the Democratic Lawmakers think!

Illinois Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr.: Damn the Constitution, Obama's Got Stuff to Do...

As a way to solve the national debt crisis, North Carolina Democratic Gov. Beverly Perdue recommends suspending congressional elections for the next couple of years.

What they really think!

Is this what the "Occupy" protestors really think about America.  At least they are ignorant enough to not know that the real American flag has 13 stars and stripes!  Probalbly few can identify all 13 colonies.... a sad state of the American population, Jefferson would not approve...

Are you prepared?

Coming for you because you have something someone else wants, needs, thinks.... Into your home, against your will, threatening you and your family??  It has happend and will happen again!

From Philly.com

"They were standing on his steps. One shouted, " 'Something's going to happen now!' " LaVelle recalled in an interview Friday at his house. LaVelle got nervous and went back inside, locking his door with a deadbolt.

But the attackers pounded on his front windows and kicked his wooden door so hard, it flew open and some of them entered his house.

"The first guy hits me with a pipe. The second guy knocks me in the face. All I'm hearing is my wife and kids screaming," said LaVelle, who feared that the next time they saw him, he would be in a casket.

He said that he was able to push the attackers out the door, but then a third man - who had a gun - tried to extend his arm. LaVelle grabbed onto the gunman's lower arm and shoulder so he couldn't raise the weapon."
